Analog Fields is a video sample pack created for the VM-1, an open-hardware live-video mixer developed by Julian Jungel and Nils Zweiling at the Digital Lab of the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts Berlin. Built on a Raspberry Pi 5, the VM-1 lets VJs, artists and performers trigger clips, mix live camera feeds and apply effects without a laptop, and is freely available to build and adapt. Analog Fields is one of the video packs distributed with it, giving new users material to start performing right away.
The pack follows a concept called Camera Shaders: everything is recorded footage, treated so that it evolves and moves.
